Innate vs acquired immunity
Dono tumhe bachaate hain — par ek wo guard hai jo janm se saath hai, doosra ek trained specialist jo yaad rakhta hai.
Innate immunity
Janm se maujood non-specific defence — skin aur mucus, stomach acid aur aansu, aur cells jaise neutrophils aur macrophages. Har invader se ek jaisa, turant, bina memory ke deal karta hai.
Acquired immunity
Exposure ke baad bana pathogen-specific defence. Pehli mulaqat par slow, weak primary response; baad ki mulaqaton par fast, strong secondary response — kyunki ye yaad rakhta hai.
Trap yeh hai
Farak ka ek word hai specific. Innate = non-specific, no memory, janm se. Acquired = specific, memory ke saath, time ke saath banta hai. Vaccines acquired arm ko train karte hain.
